We used this park for an overnight stop after spending the summer in Alaska. We used our Sprint aircard and DirecTV so can't comment on the Wi-Fi issues other raters have mentioned. Sprint aircard came in at the Broadband rate which was a pleasant surprise considering the remoteness of the area. Our Progressive Industries system indicated the power level was good for the site we had. Access was easy for our 40-foot motorhome but the park wasn't very full. I could see where it may be more difficult if the park had been full up. We would stay here again if we were in the area. The owner seemed nice enough to us.

We used this campground for an overnight stop only. The campground was pretty full so our choice of sites was limited. Our site was level and the power supply was good. The biggest issue I had with this campground is they are still using the old style credit card receipt which lists our entire credit card number information on the receipt. Be careful not to just throw your receipt away. Our Sprint aircard reception was good as was our DirecTV reception.

We actually stayed at this campground on our way into Alaska in early June as well as on our way south in August. The campground is not really near Tok although that is its address. As the name implies it is very near the Alaska-Yukon border. In June, we had no problem receiving wi-fi at our site, the TV reception was good, electric was good and the water pressure was fine. In August, wi-fi was only available at the restaurant but it was down on the evening we arrived. The water pressure was minimal too. We did eat at the restaurant on both visits and the food was good. The fuel pumps and sewer dump are both conveniently located and easy to access.

The sites are well spaced and most appear level. We were able to get in with our 40 foot motorhome. I would have rated this park a 10 if the trees along the interior road had been trimmed back. The wi-fi was excellent and included in the price we paid, $28.56 Canadian for a full hook up pull through. We were also able to receive Directv with our roof mounted dome. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

This was a tough campground to rate. It was definitely a 10 based upon the location alone. The owners were very friendly. The park does not have any provisions for trash disposal. You are expected to take all your trash with you when you leave so plan ahead. The campground only accepts cash so be sure to bring enough with you. The 15 amp electric caused our Progressive Industries EMS to cycle on and off due to the high voltage level. We ended up just unplugging the coach until we wanted to charge the batteries or run the microwave. We would definitely stay here again but wish we had had better information before arriving.

The park is obviously well maintained and very nicely laid out. We only stopped for one night but wished we could have stayed longer after seeing the campground. I was a little concerned what we were getting into when we first turned off the highway because the turn coming from the north is fairly tight and downhill. There was wi-fi available at the site but because the sites are built into a gentle slope the signal was blocked by other coaches further up the hill. I was able to receive a signal when sitting in our tow car. If wi-fi reception is important to you, be sure to check the location of the antenna before getting completely set up.

It was easy to move around even with a larger motorhome. The owner personally walks you around and shows you the sites available. The road to the campground is nicely paved and the sites themselves are pretty level and nice. There are many potholes in the main campground road so be careful as you enter the park. The location is good for access to Stewart and Hyder attractions. The road to the Salmon Glacier was closed when we were there but it was expected to be reopened shortly. The Wifi was erratic but was available at the site.

We used this park for an overnight stay only. It had easy access, good power, excellent wi-fi in the coach, plus we were able to receive our Directv. Price charged was for Canadian in cash. The owner was helpful and pleasant.

A three night minimum stay is required so plan ahead. Be sure to purchase one shuttle bus ticket for each person in your group before going to the campground. Have the shuttle ticket(s) stamped as a Tek Pass so that you will be able to ride the shuttle buses on subsequent days at no additional charge. The campground is beautiful and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Denali National Park. There is a campground host available with radio access in case of emergency.

This is a great spot to stop over for a night or two but would not recommend it for a destination campground. Easy access from US 52, and sites were level. Camp host was helpful. Basically a big gravel lot with hook-ups. We did not use the WiFi but were told that it was available and free.

I rated this park as a 9 because it met my needs for a quick one night stay at a decent Passport America price. I would not recommend this park as a destination park. We were able to fill up at the Flying J at Exit 333, then drive less than 1 mile to the campground without getting back on the interstate. Close to the interstate but far enough away not to hear it. Call before you arrive or you will not have any idea where to park to check in. We were able to pull in with our 40 motorhome towing a minivan without any difficulty. The hookups were conveniently located with excellent water pressure and electric quality. Site was level. Just a warning that the campground is not attractive but it is functional.

This is a retiree park in the Phoenix area with the typical amenities and activities. The fitness center is the best we have seen. The sites themselves are probably a seven rather than a nine; dirt with a concrete pad for your chairs. One negative was the trash. Trash is picked up at your site twice a week and MUST be out at the curb not later than 7 a.m. If you miss it, there is no where to take it in the park. You are not allowed to leave it out either.

We stayed here to learn more about Western Horizons campground memberships on their 3 day free pass program. The salesman was rude and nearly hostile when we told him we were not ready to buy at this time. We will not return to this park and probably not to any other Western Horizon facility.

We stayed at this park primarily due to it location near PGA West. We were pleased to be able to get a Passport America rate, even on a weekend in December, in a warm weather area. We were in Site 15 which was plenty big enough for our 40 footer with 4 slides. Nicely paved and well maintained park. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again if in the area.

Rate is based upon a prime season 3 month rental rate from an owner not the developer. This park is beautiful. Great views of the mountains and golf course with many small lakes with water features. The executive golf course is only 14 holes until the final phase is finished at a date to be determined. There are no tee times but it hasn't been a problem. Played in my first golf group of six here. You will have to travel 30 minutes to a grocery store of any size or a restaurant for dinner.

We stayed at this park because of its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. It is a Passport America park too which is an added benefit for us. The swimming pool is enclosed and we found it very nice. The hot tub is very hot. The office staff were friendly and helpful.

Compared to the parking lot style campgrounds in the area, this is a nice campground for a decent price.

If you want a place to stay in Laughlin, this park isn't too bad. It is a casino park in the desert so there is a lot of sand and dust with which to deal. We did use the pool and hot tub but they are across the main road at the hotel/casino so not really very convenient. The park office staff could be a little friendly but they are efficient. We did have good luck with the RV dealer which happened to be right next door.

This is a nice full hookup park with its location being its biggest asset. We were able to see so much more of the National Park because we were so close. We could hike during the morning hours, drive back to the rig for a break and then still go back to the visitors center at night to attend the evening ranger programs. The pool and hot tub were especially nice after a long day of hiking. Having a full service grocery on site was great too. Buffet at the restaurant was very good too. Price for the buffet was a little high but not given the area. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bryce Canyon National Park.

This is a very nice full hookup campground. The showers were very clean. The pool was nice but very cool since it is not heated. The pull through sites are close together but very long so it makes it easy to get in and out. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground has a lot of large level treed sites and is well kept up. Easy access to the interstate is a plus for a quick overnight stop. That being said, I would have rated it higher if I felt that it were a better value. At $34 a night I simply expect more than a nice site. At $25 I would have given this place a 10. They also charge 50 cents to use a shower which just seems petty and cheap. Laundry is very clean but again there appears to be a bit of price gouging going on there. Campground was less than 25% occupied for the 2 weekdays we were there. Maybe it is fuller on the weekends.

If you are golfers, this is a great place for you, but if you are looking for children’s playgrounds, swimming pools, and hayrides, then you won’t like this campground. The new owners have been concentrating more on golf course improvements but you can see that they are starting to make some headway on the campground. Nearly all of the permanent sites have been cleared out. The owners and staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The golf course is extremely nice with 18 of the best-maintained greens I have ever seen and it is very reasonable, particularly if you get their $49 Weekday Stay and Play package, which we did. Then we stayed another night with our Passport America for $15. So for $64 we got two rounds of golf and two nights camping. We would have stayed longer but our schedule didn’t permit it. I couldn’t rate the campground higher because it doesn’t have sewer but the dump is very conveniently located for use on your way out of the campground. We stayed in site 48 and it was a very large and level site. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is mostly seasonal but all the sites are very nicely maintained. One of the nicest seasonal campgrounds that we have seen. They have about 5 pull thru sites that they use for short term stays. Everything was clean and well groomed. We visited friends in the local area so didn't really use too much the campground had to offer. Owners live on site and were very friendly and helpful. We had plenty of room.

This campground could be a 10 if it had water and sewer. I just can't give a 10 without full hookups. That said, it is a great campground if you are looking for a place to relax in the woods. The sites are large and level for the most part. We were in site 23 of the electric loop. We have a 40 footer with 4 slides and there was plenty of room for both the rig and our minivan. The tree cover is too dense for sat signal but we were able to use our aircard. It is primarily a weekend campground for nearby DC area. During the middle of the week there were only 5 sites occupied in the electric loop and 3 in the non-electric loop.

Technically this is two campgrounds. They are both restricted to DOD/Military Personnel. They refer to the one next to the Tennessee River as "the Campground" and the one in the middle of the post as "the RV Park". We stayed one night in the campground in site 1 which did not have sewer. It was beautiful but pretty rustic. The second night we were able to get a huge pull through in the RV Park. It is not as scenic but much more functional for a big rig. $20 in the RV park and $8 in the campground.

As mentioned in previous posts, the new owners are trying very hard to improve this park. Literally tons of new rock has been put in. Biggest problem I see for this park is the entrance coming off the road. It is very narrow with a sizeable ditch on each side of the culvert. I would not want to enter this campground after dark. We camped here in a 40 foot motorhome so it shouldn't be as scary for smaller rigs. Once inside the park there is sufficient room for big rigs. It is very near Mammoth Cave National Park (2.5miles) which is why we came here. Our rate is based upon our Passport America membership.

We visited friends here who have a park home in the park. While there are a few older, unkept park homes they look to be on the way out. The vast majority of the seasonal residents have very nice homes. The staff was friendly and helpful during our month long stay. We did not use the park's restroom facilities often but when we did they were clean and tidy. Our lot was level and the power level was excellent. Laundry was very nice. We did not have a need to utilize the WiFi. Pool was clean and nicely heated. Good restaurant nearby - try Popi's V.

We attended a rally here. The campground has a number of permanent park homes and the majority of them are very nicely kept up. There are a few that look like they could use some work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The exercise room has a minimal amount of equipment. No treadmills. The residents of the park were the most active participants of all the activities of any park we have ever stayed at. There lots of people at the pool, shuffleboard and horseshoe pits daily. Sites were level and power levels were good. Good access to diesel just outside the park although it is 5 to 8 miles to the nearest grocery we found. We would stay here again.

We selected this park based upon its location to an event we were attending nearby. They are doing a lot of work to this park. Clearing out old park homes and pouring lots of concrete pads for new sites. The exercise room is not worth mentioning. The pool looked a little dirty, we didn't use it. The golf course is not even up to an executive course standard. We watched one lady tee off with a putter! That said the site we had at the top of the hill was level and easy to get in and out of and the power was good. We would camp here again if we needed to be in the area again. If the work continues at the same level, this park should be very nice in the future.

The park has nice, level sites, and the power level is good. The laundry is functional and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This rating could be higher but there simply isn't anything to do at the park except walk. There isn't a fitness room, no swimming pool, no library, no activities. If you can entertain yourselves, then this is a nice park for you. Do not use a GPS or mapping program to find this campground. The directions will lead you to a locked back gate which is indeed their official address. Follow the directions in their Passport America listing. You must enter from their entrance off of Highway 441 behind Turning Wheel RV Center.

Nice clean park. We used the swimming pool and it was sparkling clean. We used the campground as an overnight stay but would recommend it for longer stays too. The only bad thing for us was the construction between the interstate and the campground to widen the road, which it desperately needs. Once the road construction project is completed, they will have much better access for larger RV's.

This was a beautiful campground. Nice paved access roads and paved fairly level large sites. We had one of the five full hookup sites. I would recommend site 11 for the most level of the five full hook up sites. Site 13 is the largest of the five. Many beautiful sites throughout the park if full hooks are not a consideration. Friendly staff.

It is a resort campground so it is expensive. The park is laid out well in the space available. We were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. Can't beat it for the easy access to the amusement park but the shuttle vans need to be replaced. They appear to be many years old and in need of repairs. Also would not expect a tip jar for drivers for an included service. Bottom line is there is room for improvement but if we visit Cedar Point Amusement Park in the future, we will stay here again.

This park is beautiful. Large paved sites and paved interior roads. Lots of room between campsites. We used it as an overnight stop but would recommend it for longer stays too.

Very narrow winding road between interstate and campground made me rate this campground lower. We only used it as an overnight stop. I would recommend a longer stay due to the access. It was peaceful and quiet and clean.
